Welcome to the official website of the Mid Shropshire Crown Green Bowling League for the 2014 season - our 82nd since being established in 1932- and one which sees another new division on the launchpad.

This much-praised site was launched in March 2011 to provide all the latest information on league news, dates, competitions and, most importantly, results and tables – all in one place.
Mike Beckett's revolutionary results system, which sees clubs input result details direct into their computers, ensures that is the case,

And there will be a new division to follow here in 2014 as, hot on the heels of the Saturday divisions, comes a new eight-a-side Thursday Night Division with a unique points scoring system.
Our Telford-based league currently has 27 member clubs and provides competition in three main divisions on Friday nights for a maximum of 14 teams and three more on Monday evenings.
Last year saw the relaunch of the Jack Jones Junior Division Trophy and more competitions are planned to keep younger bowlers interested.

Having seen a new second green open at Wrockwardine Wood, league officials are hoping that exciting new plans for a two green facility at Allscott come to fruition soon so that the recent trend of losing greens starts to be reversed.
The sad loss of Dennis Lewis in November after 10 years superb service cast a huge shadow over the end of the year. But his successor in the chair, Sean Round, has vowed to carry on the good work to the best of his ability.

Mid Shropshire has, over the years, been proud of its link with, and the continuing sponsorship of Molson Coors. Together they plan to remain a winning team.
