Harris Cup holders St Georges (Premier) have marched into this season’s semi-finals – but Ashton Cup holders Bylet are out of that competition.

The Dragons beat Sinclair (Div 1) to earn a last four showdown with Horsehay, who beat Madeley Cricket Club in their quarter-final tie.

It’s turning into something of a knockout year for Horsehay as they are already looking forward to the County Consolation Cup final on Saturday, August 3, against former Premier League club Childs Ercall at Meole Brace (6.30pm).

It was Wrockwardine Wood, the club who have dominated the Ashton Cup of late until they lost in last year’s final, who ended Bylet’s bid to defend it.
