Chairman To Stand Down

posted Oct 6, 2018, 3:36 AM by Malcolm Fletcher
Chairman Sean Round told delegates at the League's October executive committee meeting that he intends to stand down from the role at the 2019 AGM in January.

The Bowring stalwart officially succeeded the late Dennis Lewis in the key position at the 2014 AGM and has proved himself as a respected and capable guiding hand.

He reported the proposals of the Future Ideas Sub Group at the meeting - and they will be further developed at a meeting of the Sub Group and the League's officers later this month.

And one thing League officials will now have to look at for next year is the structure of the top three divisions on Friday nights after division one champions Highley won promotion to the Shropshire Premier League by beating Hanmer by 13 shots in the play-off at a sodden Old Shrewsbury.
