Do You Know The Rules of Bowls?

Rules of the Game & Coaching Evening

Wednesday 14 March

7:30 - 9:30

Bowring Bowling Club, Wellington

Although the session is aimed at coaches who wish to brush up on the rules of the game - and when we should introduce them in coaching sessions - we would also welcome anyone who might be interested in becoming a referee or  just wanting to refresh their knowledge of the laws of the game

It’s a chance to ask all those questions you’ve ever wanted to ask about the rules with no such thing as a stupid question

So … can you answer these questions

1 – How much does a jack weigh?

2 – What’s the difference between a VOID end and a DEAD end?

3 – Where should the mat be placed at the beginning of a game?

Hosted by Denise Tonks, match referee, and Pauline Wilson, the new County Development Officer

Definitely nothing too serious, it's indoors & the bar will be open! Everything you wanted to know about bowls but were afraid to ask!

Cost £1.00 to cover expenses

Please let me know if you’re going to attend by calling Pauline Wilson on 01746 766253 or email porinkan@gmail.com
