Merit Magic At Edgmond For . . .

A Super Saturday looms for the League this weekend (July 6) with the Senior Merit finals day at Edgmond from 1pm.

For the 16-strong field gunning for the Billy Harris trophy includes big names galore, including Premier League bowlers.

There’s two-time winner and reigning champion Jamie King, last year’s beaten finalist Darren Lord, past winners Paul Beer and Roy Bradburn, plus new County Veterans Merit champion Graham Turner.

There's also the in-form duo Martin Gaut and Dan Taylor, part of big St Georges and Wrockwardine Wood contingents, while Alison Cotton will fly the flag for the many women who bowl in the league.
