All Roads Lead To Trench . . .

posted May 18, 2017, 12:41 PM by Malcolm Fletcher
The second competition of the League's 2017 programme is at Trench on Saturday 20th May, with an 11am start.

It's Over-60 Merit with Bowring's Dave Brown returning to the scene of last year's inaugural triumph hoping to keep a firm grip on the Ray & Jeff Hutchinson Trophy.

Organiser Phil King reports an increase in entries with more than a dozen in line to contest the title.

Bacon butties will be among the refreshments on offer and the prize fund is being boosted by sponsorship by Dave Evans, secretary of host club Trench and League secretary  Malcolm Fletcher.

As for parking, Dave reports: " With regards to parking, unfortunately we can't use the Kitchen Depot on Saturdays. We just need to avoid turning and parking in front of the hairdressers and the adjoining property. I will be on hand, if we have any problems."
