Colin Rudrum celebrated his 72nd birthday this week, having accepted an early birthday present from the League.
The Newport stalwart has, after talks with League officers, agreed to accept the post of chairman of a new disciplinary committee to deal with complaints and official protests.
Colin, who will be the non-voting chair of the committee to guide those selected to serve on it, is a former Mid Shropshire delegate on the county executive committee.
And he's hoping that common sense prevails to settle all disputes before the disciplinary committee ever has to be called . . .
