Code Of Conduct On The Way?

League officers hope to take the first steps towards introducing a Code of Conduct in 2017 at the November management committee meeting on Tuesday the 1st.

Delegates of clubs will be given details of the proposed code, which includes set punishments, after a 2016 season which saw division one champions Donnington Wood A deducted three points from their final total for misconduct.

Former league chairman Steve Wall came up with the idea of the code, which was worked on a recent meeting of the league’s improvements sub group with a view to introducing it at January’s AGM.

All trophies not yet returned to competition secretary Phil King must be with him by the meeting, when the winners of the eight divisional averages prizes will be determined.

County President Phil Scott has confirmed he will be among the guests for the league’s annual dinner on Saturday 14 January at the Telford Whitehosue Hotel, and all clubs need to return their completed dinner forms at the meeting,
