Player and Club Conduct features on the agenda of the League's September management committee meeting on Tuesday the 6th at the Bayley (7.30pm).

The league's officers have already met to discuss their approach and they will be making a number of proposals at the meeting - some they want voting on at the October executive and others for consideration at the 2017 AGM.

Competition secretary Phil King has confirmed that Maddocks will host the Harris Cup final on Saturday 17 September (6.30pm).

That's when Sir John Bayley A, on the verge of promotion back to division one, will take on holders Newport (Premier) with a 46 shot advantage thanks to the new handicapping structure introduced this year.

Rejuvenated Maddocks have already staged the DIxon Driscoll Doubles finals and the finals of the Senior Merit, as well as being the platform for Mid Shropshire's latest triumph in the Shropshire veterans inter-league.
