SPOOF EMAIL As End Of An Era Fast Approaches . . .

The League has just been advised by vice chairman and IT expert Steve Roberts that people on John Kitchen's mailing list are today (Thursday 26 January) receiving A SPOOF EMAIL FROM THE WRONG EMAIL ADDRESS.

Please treat this email accordingly - and delete it.
All AGM info went out on Tuesday 24 January.

And the agenda shows there's a big change looming at the League's AGM on Tuesday 31 January at Wellington's Sir John Bayley Club (7pm).

The annual meeting will mark the end of 16 years of super service by minute secretary John Kitchen, the Albrighton stalwart who has seen many changes during his long spell in office.

He has agreed to attend the meeting to receive a token of the League's thanks for his efforts - one of two special presentation ceremonies to be held on the night after the AGM and a short session to deal with the ordinary business of the League.

And that could well mean there is no need for a February management committee meeting . . .
