Deadline & Vacancy

posted Oct 26, 2020, 12:43 PM by Malcolm Fletcher
Member clubs have been reminded that the deadline for any rule change proposals to be considered at the 2021 AGM to be with the general secretary - in writing - is Saturday 31st October.

It looks likely, at this stage, that the League's AGM in January will have to be held virtually, probably via the Zoom conferencing app.

And to get clubs and their delegates prepared for this eventuality, the League will hold a November executive meeting over 3 nights during the first week of November - having held a test meeting for those who are not IT or Zoom savvy on Wednesday night.

"The County Chairman has received notification from Brian Kitson that he will not be seeking re-election as County Treasurer for the 2021 season. He will be standing down on 31.1.21

"We must thank Brian for all the hard work he has done over the 13 years he has been in office, he will be missed!

"I will be advertising the position on the county website as soon as I receive the job specs from Brian.

"I would be grateful if you could give me an update on how you are progressing in finding my replacement, time is running out as there is just 14 weeks to my retirement . . ."
