'MSBL 2020 Relaunch Singles' at Edgmond on Saturday 5th September, 10.30am start

Please note eligibility criteria: Bowlers who want to enter must have played at least 12 games in MSBL divisions 1-2-3-4-5 or 6 in 2019 and have paid their clubs subs this year.

- Ring League competition secretary Phil King on 07745-657428 on Saturday (AUG 22) from 10am onwards and names will be taken on a first come, first served basis.

– The first 16 bowlers to contact Phil will then be notified that they have until 6pm on Sunday (AUG 23) to make a BACs transfer of the £10 entry fee to the account of League treasurer Mrs C A Miles (sort code 60-21-57, account number 61528145), clearly stating the name of the person who is entering.

– Phil and Celia will then liaise to see who has paid and then confirm the 16 entries, taking names off the entry list from number 17 upwards to fill any spaces of those who have not paid.

– The 16 confirmed entries for comp No. 1 on 5th September MUST then get their contact details (home address, phone number and email address) to League secretary Malcolm Fletcher by Saturday 29th August to comply with track and trace guidelines. These details will be kept for 4 weeks and then erased to comply with Data Protection laws. Failure to supply contact details will mean a bowler’s entry is withdrawn – and a replacement put in.

- All bowlers who have their entry confirmed will only be allowed to attend ALONE, as we must limit numbers at the venue to a maximum of 30, and they will receive a staggered start time in accordance with their place in the draw, which will be made in advance. Any under-18 who is entered and cannot drive will be allowed to attend with 1 parent (whose contact details will also be needed).

– In the week leading up to the competition, they will be emailed with Risk Assessment and Protocols On The Day documents so that they can be in no doubt as to how the day is going to be organised, in the safest possible manner. All entrants will need to acknowledge they have read the documents before attending.

– If there is sufficient demand, further competitions with fields of 16 will be held on Saturdays 12 and 19th September at the same venue, with the same start time – and following the same rules as above, ie BACs transfer to confirm entry, bowler details to Malcolm and 2 documents issued to them before the day of the comp. We will try to confirm entries at least 10 days in advance of each comp

– Should the level of interest from divisions 1 to 6 bowlers be insufficient to run comps on the 2 extra Saturdays, entries would be opened up to Thursday Division bowlers who played at least 12 games in 2019.
