Not Long To Wait Now . . .

It's been six days since the League's officers met via Zoom to discuss plans for what's left of the C-19 marred season.

But the time has not gone to waste  - and two of them have made an on-site visit to a member club to check that any League-promoted competition can be staged there within the current guidelines.

Given the need for a safe venue, at which the League can control numbers around the green under phase 3 of the lockdown re-opening guidelines, it does limit the choice of venue - but it was a very positive meeting.

There is now a comprehensive risk assessment being done, while details like dates, entry fee, how they can be paid, prize money, track and trace requirements etc etc are also being worked on.

Quite clearly, there is still a huge amount to consider and sort out before a final decision on any MSBl comps in 2020 can be made - and it might take most of the coming week.

The best thing to do is simply watch this space . .
